NeuroMovement Lessons for Children & Adults

In my practice I see people of all ages, from just a few weeks old into their nineties. While the reasons for lessons vary widely from person to person, the approach to creating meaningful change is the same—using gentle movement and attention to wake up the brain to form new connections and patterns. This results in improved physical and cognitive function, and allows fuller participation in life.

There are different possibilities how to engage with this method: private hands-on lessons, verbally guided movement explorations, in private lessons or group classes, intensives, and coaching for parents and caregivers.

SERVICES I OFFER

  • A NeuroMovement lesson is a gentle, hands-on learning process that uses movement and attention to awaken the brain’s natural ability to learn and self-organize. Through playful exploration—similar to how babies learn to roll, crawl, and walk—the child experiences variations and small differences that help the brain form new and more refined connections. Each touch or verbal cue is an invitation for the client to sense, feel, and discover new ways of moving and being. The practitioner and client form a responsive partnership, where two nervous systems interact in synchrony, creating the conditions for growth, comfort, and new possibilities.

  • The purpose of the coaching sessions is to train parents in how to apply the Nine Essentials in the home environment to support their child’s learning process by creating conditions that make it easier for the child’s brain to get and process new information.

I offer this service as a series of four sessions, that are ideally completed within one to two weeks.

Each session lasts 45–60 minutes and can include parents only or a combination of parent–child sessions.

Sessions are typically held on Zoom—which also allows me to see your home environment—but can be arranged in person if preferred.
